Yara’s Air1 is the first existing AdBlue licensee to be certified by VDA

Oslo - June 2010: In a move to protect the rights of AdBlue users, the Verband der Automobilindustrie, or German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) which owns the AdBlue trademark implemented an audit program as from autumn 2009. Of the existing AdBlue trademark licencees, Yara’s Air1 is the first to undertake and be successfully certified by VDA as part of this program.

AdBlue – raw materials are key for Quality Air1 Product

AdBlue is a high specification product, produced to exacting standards to meet the requirements of the SCR technology used in Heavy duty commercial vehicles. The two key components of AdBlue are high purity Urea and de-mineralised water which have to be contaminant free and as pure as can be.  To reach these high standards Air1 uses raw materials that are of the highest quality for its AdBlue product.
